We have Company address and Industry information, but if we want to easily plot this information on a Geographic map, I have to export this data from HubSpot and put it into PowerBi. It would be great if a new report visualization could be created to simply allow users to plot on a map where their Companies are located and filter by industry/segment/verticle as needed. This would help quantify our Company data in HubSpot, without having to export and recreate in another platform.

We’ve been waiting for Hubspot to roll out this feature natively for a long time but doesn’t seem to be on their roadmap.
As a workaround, you can use a third-party integration that (depending on usage) will run you $50-150/month.
GeoMapper and Mapsly seem to be the 2 that are easiest to integrate and give you the most robust set of functions.

Love this idea! My marketing team is also looking for a similar function as a built-in feature with HubSpot. We are hoping to be able to create a
report that is a map of the USA showing which states user website sessions are coming from (similar to the one we currently get from Google Analytics). With Google Analytics’ recent changes we are unable to obtain this content moving forward and it’s a great visual resource for our stakeholders.
Upvoting for potential native mapping capability in HubSpot reports/dashboards in the future. Will be investigating GeoMapper until then.

Totally agree — exporting to Power BI adds unnecessary steps. Mapsly lets you visualize your Company data directly on a map inside HubSpot, with filters by industry, segment, vertical, and more — no exports needed.

We’re using HubSpot to track event attendees as Contacts and need a simple “attendees by country” visualization that we can put on internal dashboards. Right now, in the Custom Report Builder / contacts-based reports, we only have bar/area/line/pie/etc., but no map or geographic chart type.
Honestly, I can’t believe HubSpot doesn’t already have a basic map visualization for contacts by country. This is a pretty standard and very useful way for stakeholders to understand where attendees (or customers/leads) are coming from at a glance.
Having to export data to another tool just to get a basic “by country on a map” view defeats a lot of the value of HubSpot dashboards.
What would solve this for us:
- A map / geographic visualization type that works with Contacts as the primary data source.
- Ability to aggregate by Country/Region (and ideally state/region).
- Ability to filter by list, lifecycle, event attendance, etc., and then pin that map to any dashboard.
Our main use case is events, but this applies equally to customers, MQLs, etc.
A native map viz in dashboards would remove a lot of friction and make HubSpot reporting feel much more complete.
Our team would LOVE to have this available, and even as an add-on having the ability to list companies near your current location when using the mobile app…would make it SUPER easy for our sales teams to route stops and plan/map-out routine drop-ins to customers.
