It is extremely helpful to build custom formulas/functions in HubSpot. These formulas can sometimes replace workflows and allow for quicker processes and more advanced systems.
However, the formulas/functions and operators in datasets, calculated properties, format data workflow actions, and custom reports are sometimes different or don’t exist.

Looking at these articles, we can see that datasets have much more formulas/functions than calculated properties. For example, WEEKNUM(), NOW(), and DATEDIFF() are not options for calculated properties.
Bringing function/formula and operator parity across datasets, calculated properties, format data workflow actions, and custom formulas in reports will greatly help streamline processes, improve reports, enable better solutions, provide admins and developers with advanced tools, and reduce a lot of confusion.
Lastly, when functions/formulas and operators are added in HubSpot, I would love an update on the “Product Updates” page with information and use cases for them.
