Formula fields not working with if clauses?

Hello

I have created this formula, I want it to show $1,000,000 when X or Y are selected as the deal owners, it doesn’t work when I test it, please advise why as the support team already confirmed the formula is correct and it does say “no issues”

Hi @SZamblau,

I’m not sure HubSpot expects the user name here, but probably the user ID. Can you try filtering for the ID instead?

See a below quick test that returned the ID for my own user:

In other words, the if statement will always evaluate as false at the moment.

Best regards

Hi @karstenkoehler , I did the ID switch but I still might be missing something as it still does not work, can you please take a look?

@SZamblau when I test it, it works for me:

Could you please share a screenshot of your entire configuration of the property, including type, output, format etc? Have you made sure you’re referencing the right ID?

Hello, please see here the screenshot requested, yes I am using the user id from the user table, and I am creating this field on the deal object , please see second screenshot for confirmation:

In the last screenshot you can see the output, it is 0 when it should be 1000000 formated as USD currency:

Thank you

Hi @karstenkoehler any updates on the above? , i have tested it multiple times since yesterday but it doesn’t work.

@SZamblau the only difference I’m spotting would be the = vs == although I can’t make sense of it – have you tried adjust as shown in my screenshot?
