There should be an option to type to search in a dropdown menu, they would be able to select from the dropdown but also type to narrow down their search results if there are a lot of options.
This is a must-have for forms to improve conversions, please!
Yes, much needed. Specifically for “Country/Region” fields.
It will be very useful for us!
We need this to be able to collect brand name. We work primarily with franchised restaurants and many specific brands have negotiated special pricing. So we need a field that collects brand without making the user sort through rows and rows of values.
This would be very useful for lists of parts. The current search feature on the dropdown list is not user friendly at all.
we need this also for the countries dropdown list and support on mobile devices.
This is standard behavior for internet forms here, not sure why this has not been implemented.
This a must for the properties with lots of options such as region or county
Yes, I can’t believe this isn’t already an option!
I think you should also be able to define where the data is being searched. Instead of having to import a list, or type out a list. It would be great to be able to select a Custom Object to search.
Example: We work with artists and brands. We have form where artists can submit brands that they like, and brand contacts that can submit who their favorite artist is. It would be great for them to be able to search for existing brands/artists (both are custom objects in system) to avoid spelling errors, but also to associate those answers to the actually object they’ve selected.
Yes please super helpful for long picklists like Industry!
We have over 600 chapters in our nonprofit. It would be beyond helpful to allow our contacts an easier experience searching the many options.
It would also be helpful for a searchable multiple-choice option!
This would be so useful for users on our forms having to select which country they live in- we currently use a dropdown menu and it’s far from an ideal customer experience.
I have just come across this issue - has anyone found a work around with a 3rd party solution - thinking there may be a form provider with searchable dropdown fields we could integrate?
We need this!!
Yes, urgently needed.
Please!
We needed a dropdown that could search across 45k records in realtime. We integrated elasticsearch with hubspot form and rendered the form without our frontend framework. The result of the user search was saved to the hidden text field created on the hubspot form whent he user submitted the rendered form.
This needs to be implemented! This alone is forcing us to consider another, separate solution for our forms.
