I’m using HubSpot’s free version as super user. I’ve created slide in right box form to be added on our website for contacting us. My only choises for fields to choose and use are email, first name, last name and phone number. Everything else is locked, and if I try to type in other fieled name in the search bar (such as message, that I’d like to include), the result is “no results found”. How can I add other fields on my form - or is ot not possible when using the free version?
I have checked that Show in forms is active on properties so that’s not the case here
Hi @Laura_Soras,
This indeed seems to be a limitation of the free CRM, this is what I’m seeing in a free portal:
Versus a paid (Starter) portal:
This is not listed specifically in the product limits, but it looks like you’d have to upgrade.
Best regards!
Yep, that’s exactly the list I also see and am able to use but according to product info, free account should include longer / more comprehensive listing.
Hi @Laura_Soras,
I don’t disagree, it’s simply a limitation of the free product.
Which product information are you referring to? HubSpot tends to change what’s included in the free CRM. The only solution would currently be to upgrade.
(Don’t shoot the messenger, I do not work for HubSpot.)
Best regards!
I have discussed this with HubSpot sales support and according to them: "Seems there are technical issues with your form access. In this case, as part of the Sales team here, often we are not the best point of contact for these queries, as we do not have enough access/insight. But you do have access to our one-to-many support team via the HubSpot Community. Feel free to raise the issue with them so they can have a look for you and suggest solutions for your forms access. "
Hi @Laura_Soras ,
Can you please make sure of the properties you are searching for. There is a checkbox that needs to be checked in the settings > properties > and edit the property > check the checkbox
if you want to use those properties in the forms
Here’s a short video for your reference
If it is already on, then there might be some glitch from the backend try hard refresh, logging out and login and it should work.
Hope this helps!
If we were able to answer your query, kindly help the community by marking it as a solution.
Thanks and Regard.
Hi,
Thanks for the advise. I have already checked that the checkbox is checked (and actually the message property for example is provided by HubSpot and cannot be edited, and it’s checked by default). I have already logged out and login, didn’t help ![]()
