First Activity Date

have two questions related to reports. I’d like to know the time it takes from when a deal is created in the pipeline until the sales rep performs the first follow-up activity. For this, I created a calculated property in deals called ‘Lead Follow-Up Time.’ However, it would make more sense to use the ‘First Activity Date’ instead of the 'Last Activity Date.
Any thoughts on how to create property First Activity Date? I’m a bit stuck, I know it should be a date property type but how do I set the values?

Hi @CDeMares !

The reasoning provided is spot on. To achieve this, you could create a workflow that, when the “Last Activity Date” is known, automatically copies it into the custom date property you’ve created for the “First Activity Date.”

This approach will allow you to store the date of the first activity effectively.

I hope this has been helpful!

While this would work moving forward, it’d be invalid for anything that was made in the past(because last would just show most recent). Is there a way to find/set this information via workflow for anything prior?

@HDamron - thanks for posting in the Community!
To clarify, are you looking for activity on a specific date, or all activity? I’m trying to clarify what you’re referencing when you say “for anything that was made in the past.”
