Filtering on dates

Hi, I want to filter contacts according to the value of a field that is a date. (typically: the date is beofre 2023; the date is between Jan and Dec 22; etc.). I then want to create a list based on that filter, or, even better, a smart list.

How can I do that?

Hi @FMontrelay,

This can be achieved with lists: Create segments

  • Create an active list
  • Follow the steps to add the first filter
  • Find your date property under ‘Contact properties’
  • Select it
  • Use the dropdown to specify the date range

Hi,
Please see attached screenshot (in French). The field is a date but the dropdown does not allow to pick a range.

@FMontrelay this doesn’t seem to be a date property but a single line text? For date filters to work, it must be a date property. You’re not going to able to apply between-filters to any other property type.

Ouch.
This field is created by Waalaxy when exported. Is there anyway I can change the format to a real date format?

@FMontrelay not once it’s in use - your vest course if action is likely creating a new date property and newly mapping Waalaxy to that date property. If that’s not an option, you’d have to look into custom code workflow actions in Operations Hub professional to concert the single line text into a date.
