Filter by Unsubscribe / Opt Out Source

It would be very helpful to be able to filter by unsubscribe / opt out source (workflow, opt out import, portal user, or if the contact did it themselves through manage preferences on an email). This would help for determining between operational and contact-side opt outs with HubSpot score or fixing a mistake in a workflow or opt out list when looking at a large group of contacts. Having this feature would’ve saved me hours upon hours fixing a faulty workflow.

We are able to see this data inside the individual contact records so the data exists, however I do see it getting complicated with various subscription types and then if you add on additional business units.

This would be super helpful!! Especially when data is coming from a lot of different systems and sources (e.g. we just consolidated 80 different chapter Mailchimp accounts into one HubSpot, reconciling the source of someone’s opt out would be EXTREMELY helpful

sorting unsubscribes by source would be very helpful, +1!

100% agree with this. Just learned you can’t find people who unsubscribed form your particular email too. Users will appear in all emails under “Unsubcribed” if they have unsubscribed from all. Means harder to track which email they actually unsubscribed from. They will appear in all the emails they’ve ever received meaning you can’t masure the performance of a particular email because you have everyone there who has ever unsubscribed-from-all even if they didn’t do it in that email.

Yes, this is a problem for me too. We run multiple newsletters and by unsubscribing through a portal or say an Apple email system a subscriber is blanket unsubsrcibed from all of our newsletters instead of just the one he/she is engaging with in that moment. Annoying and costly to say the least. An yes, the data does exist in the back end, so why not allow us to filiter for it? This is an issue hurting lots of EDM publishers i would think.

Problem here too, we have a field on a lead capture form that captures a contacts opt in at the front end which we then automatically push to a preference centre opt in.
If the contact changes their preferences via the prefence centre after their original opt in, it makes it very difficult to manage when migrating preference centres / changing preference options etc

Same problem, it will be very useful.

+1, absolutely needed!!!

Yeah, need this ASAP. Rogue workflow was unsubscribing contacts and I need to be able to filter by the unsubscribe mechanism to re-activate them.
