Looking at a way to use 2 different featured images: 1 for the blog post (not manually inserted), 1 for the blog listing. Is there a way to split the templates? Or tell posts and listing to fetch a different image?

I’m not sure this is possible @Emma_Astroth out of the box. @dessery do you know this can be acheived with a custom solution?
It is not something i have done before but the way I would approach it would just be to add an Image Tag to your Post template, you can either have two seperate templates, one for your listings, and one for the individual post and then set these within Content Settings for the post and listing view, or you could just add the tag using some HubL to your post template in the combined template like so:
I hope that makes sense, HubSpot uses the term template for the main layout itself in the Design Manager as well as the two available styles on the Blog Content module which makes explaining this stuff confusing!!
Although this is not technically a featured image as you asked, you can add it on your post template anywhere you want it to provide flexibility in your design.
