I wish we could have an additional date-based property rule that was date can’t be before (or after) another date-based property.
I can create workflow that tells me when a certain date is before another date to get a report for fixing/alerting the seller after the fact, but it’d be great to have a rule baked into the property so they can’t put an erroneous date in there to begin with.
in addition to this request, it would be good to expand the “Date Property Rules” in the manage section to have the following rules:
Furthermore, when a future date is selected, the additional future date properties are then expanded, this in turn opens the posibility to have a “buffer time” with a set amount of days. It would be also benefitial to have this as a “working day” calculation and only calculate X number of days in a Monday - Friday range. Better still, having “Conditional options” in the manage section so that the buffer time “working day calculation” could be validated from another date property would improve this.
In addition, a Current and Past Dates Only.

After review, we currently don’t have plans to build this. This request falls outside the area we’re focused on right now. That said, we revisit our roadmap regularly, and customer ideas like this one do influence what we prioritize. Please continue to share your feedback!
Hey Rachel, thanks for the update: I understand, that you guys won’t focus on the initial idea of this thread. On the other side, I really want to push the Current and Future dates only and the Current and Past Dates Only - as the current setup doesn’t work in an API world. Having only past or only future dates, really misses the point that dates are usually written into the field on the same day, but can in most cases only be in the past from there on. Or vice versa.
