Currently Event funnel reports:

do not have the ability to dynamically update as new data is introduced. So the only time new data is fetched is when you load into the builder + refresh the report.

For example, if you select ‘this week’, the report will get generated with the data from that week. If you save it to a dashboard and come back in a month, the data will still reflect the data from the week the report was created until you open it in the builder and refresh the report.

This is based on the custom events in use, and does not apply to the generic funnels that can be created based on contact and deal stages.
This is a definite requirement for our users and should ideally reflect the same design used in the main funnel reports both for most accurate reporting and for clarity of the use of the tool, as this is ecpected to work in the same way as the contact/deal reports. This should also include the percent calculation displaying next step and cumulative conversion figures.

Thanks for posting this request, and I fully support this change. It is very odd to go into a dashboard and have to think, “Oh, let’s see, which of these reports do I need to manually update by editing the report, fiddling with the order of the events, putting them back in the proper order, and re-saving?” Would love it if event funnel reports would update the way contact funnel reports do.
