I’m not able to link existing Lists or contacts to my Marketing Event. Reimporting all of the names seems like a good way to acheive some kind of data loss. Is there a better way to add clients already in our database to an upcoming event?

To add existing clients to your marketing event without reimporting data, you can use our lists. Create a static or dynamic list with the contacts you want to include in the event, and then link that list to your marketing event in HubSpot.

This way, you won’t risk any data loss, and the clients will be included in the event without needing to re-import them.

I’ve tried adding using Lists and it’s really unclear how to link them.. Can you elaborate?

I understand you’re encountering difficulties associating a list of existing clients with your marketing event in HubSpot.

Currently, HubSpot does not support manually linking a list directly to a marketing event. The lists that appear as associated with an event are those that utilize the marketing event in their filters.
