I don’t really know how to handle this error as it seems to be an internal error (I would expect a 500) at Hubspot but it seems that something’s wrong with some validations (the body I send has always been working until now and its content is only static values, not depening of the customer).
Do I miss something?
Hi, @yoLotus Thanks for reaching out. Were you able to resolve this one? If not, I have a few questions to help the community better understand your issue:
Have you been able to reproduce it on your end?
Is it persistent or intermittent?
It’s only happening to one user?
If only one user, have you tried to remove or isolate other variables that could cause a 400 Bad Request to appear? From that user?
Hey @Jaycee_Lewis sorry for the late response and thanks for your message,
I’ve only be able to reproduce with this customer, same environment
I’ve tried several times during the day and always got the same error payload
It happended only with this customer so far
Unfortunately the body of the request is always the same, whatever the customer. I’ve modified the body to make some errors on purpose (just to see) and it happened that I got a readable and usable error message.
I thought the customer haven’t the right permissions to let us hit the form endpoint on their behalf but they wouldn’t have been allowed to install our app beforehand.
It seems that I wanted to create a Form at the customer account with a property that has been archived. As I was attempting to only install default properties (basic ones as jobtitle, company…) I didn’t think it was possible to archive them (only custom ones).
Nevertheless, the message is useless and should be updated
Actually, I was attempting to install a form with the default “phone” properties that I declared as `single_line_text` as formType. The exact value for the formType was “phone”. But once again, Hubspot api response was providing 0 clues.
