I’d like to enable the web-version of an email by default in a custom-coded template. This would streamline the email creation process for my colleagues who don’t always remember to switch the toggle hidden beneath the Advanced Settings tab.
Yes! There’s no downside to having this default; it’s there if you need it. With the current default of not creating a web version, there’s a whole lot of headache to getting a version. My account is littered with email clones because I forgot to toggle the web version button. Grrrr.
I agree with all these folks; it’s better to have access the web version as the default. Having no web link as the default - and not retrievable if we neglect to click it or decide later that we need it - forces manual rework. Would be nice if this question - are there ways a solution increases or decreases possible manual work/forces workarounds? - could be added to the build rubric, as it seems to be an issue in other areas in Hubspot.
