Currently you cannot create select “unique values” when creating properties for products. This would be very helpful as, my understanding is you can use these unique value properties as part of updating products via an Import.
We have an internal part number and OEM part number for all our products, so we really need to be able to perform an update using either field.
Same here. It is frustrating to see that we can’t add unique value field in any of the entity except for ‘contact’ to sync the records. We are trying to use API to push and update records in the HubSpot but can’t refer to the record to update once created because there is no way for us to find our records in HubSpot using our own id.
Yeah it seems weird that only Products is exempt from restricting properties to unique values. I have basically the same use case as @OllieS , a WooCommerce product ID that would ideally be truly unique.
I want to add a new property defined as UNIQUE to PRODUCT objects. However, when creating the new property, the checkbox “Require unique values for this property (0 out of 10)” does not appear (see capture 1). It only appears in the column characteristics once its creation is finished. But it is no longer editable (see capture 2).
