Currently unable to directly share the App object to users / team. Note : The Select option is completely disable for App object records.
Hey @ramkumar1021, From your screenshot, this looks like a trial or developer test account, since there are Enterprise trials in the Trial Guide and the object is called “Development Zoho Sign DCs”. Accounts like that often have only one user and no teams. The fields say “No user” and “No shared teams”, which usually means there’s nobody else in the account to share with. You can’t share a record with yourself. Try adding another user and a team under Settings > Users & Teams, then open the Share option again.
If there are other users and it’s still greyed out, there are two other things you should check:
- Your permissions. You need to be a Super Admin or have edit access to the “Shared users” and “Shared teams” properties.
- App object support. Record sharing officially supports standard and custom objects. App objects like this Zoho Sign one aren’t fully covered yet, especially while the app is still in development.
If it’s the second one, a good workaround is to give those users “View: Everything” access to the app object in their permission set.

Apologies for the delayed reply. i have attached the contact’s record which is from the same test org where the sharing options is enabled.
- Current user is Super admin
- If App object is same as custom, as a developer we expect it to be. custom objects are sharable. Please do check with the ATS application app from hubspot market place.
That is the current workaround but people won’t like to go int settings → user → permissions to change for each users. I believe i have conveyed why that’s it is needed
