Embedded form not appearing as styled

Hi there -
I have a series of 3 custom coded landing pages that each use a corresponding embedded Hubspot form.
These are the landing pages:
https://marketing.pave.com/building-and-maintaining-your-comp-bands
https://marketing.pave.com/the-modern-approach-to-bands-and-merit-cycles
https://marketing.pave.com/preparing-for-pay-transparency

Here’s how each form is styled in the form editor (again, I’m using the embed code, not styling using HTML/CSS): https://share.hsforms.com/1dMsw9QE_QSyHc_56KCfw4w3wm9q (only 1 link because all forms are styled to look the same - they’re clones of each other).
All worked fine on Tuesday and I’ve made no changes since. In fact, the thumbnail image for each shows the blue button. Here’s one as an example:

I’ve made no changes to my code and am using the embed code for each form rather than using HTML/CSS - this was to save time due to a quick turn around time on these pages. Any ideas as to what is happening here?
Thanks,
Asia

Hey @asiaferguson ,

first: sick design, mate! I really want to register for that webinar now

Second: This is indeed very odd. The first time I loaded up the page, it showed the style just fine, and I didn’t understand where the problem was. Upon refresh, I noticed that the style was thrown out again. So right from the start we can exclude that there might have been any changes to the form in the past days.

Would you mind checking the global form settings and, if not already done, change them accordingly? I doubt that this will change something, but I am still curious to see, as sometimes the stupidest approach might be the solution after all.

I’ve also done some research and found similar issues related to changing HubSpot licenses. Did you by any chance recently downgrade?

I also assume you’ve tried republishing the page and form, right?

Cheers,

Chriso

Hi -
Thanks for the compliment on the page(s)!
I actually already tried adjusting the global form settings to no avail. I’ve tried republishing as well as creating a test page and form from scratch and still the same thing occurs.
Hubspot support just told me to add some CSS which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place! It did work though. Sigh. What’s the point of being able to style a form in the editor if it doesn’t work properly embedded in the page? Anyway, that solved the issue for now.
I don’t think the client downgraded. Their contact tier went up, but I wouldn’t think that’d have an effect on being able to style a form. I’ll look into it though.

I agree that that is not really what you would expect in this situation. Glad it works, at least for. Keep us posted if you find out something else. I surely do the same.

Have a fantastic weekend,

Chriso
