Hi there,
I connected Cookiebot and Hubspot. Now I have to embedd the two codes (one in the <head > and one in the <body>) so that the cookiebanner opens.
I can’t find a way to add it. Can someone help?
PS: I use a starter template and am a free user at the moment.
Hi @BastianW . Here’s a Knowledge Base article to help you add code to the head or footer HTML of HubSpot content. Hopefully that helps!
Dear @danmoyle, thank you so much! Yes I saw this article but I there aren’t any additional settings to choose from in my interface. Just “Settings”:
- the titles, page-url, meta description and feature image.
Thanks again for your reply!
Bastian
I also tried to use the hubspot cookie banner. But there aren’t any options to create one. I worked through the guide but I have to add an external URL with hubspot tracking code. But I want to use it on an hubspot-hosted landing page… any ideas?
@kvlschaefer is there any technical help HubSpot can offer for @BastianW?
Thanks @danmoyle for mentioning @kvlschaefer. Maybe it’s just a bug? Without any cookie consent, I can’t launch my landing page…
All the best
Bastian
Hi @BastianW and @danmoyle,
Thank you for your help so far with this, @danmoyle!
Apologies for the delayed reply, @BastianW, I’ve been out of office.
@BastianW - I believe that this may be related to your subscription level. Not all accounts will be able to edit the head and footer HTML for individual pages and posts or across domains. The specific editing options for different types of content available depend on your HubSpot subscription.
To confirm though, can you please send me a DM with a direct link to your page settings and your domain settings please?
I’ll be happy to take a look
Best,
Kristen
Dear Kristen,
thanks for your answer. I’m still on the free plan, planning to go into paid mode soon. The knowledge article posted by @danmoyle says that it is applicable to all plans.
I’ll send you a DM.
Thanks everyone.
Best, Bastian
Hi @BastianW,
Thank you for your patience while I was looking into this.
I wanted to share this help article on starter templates regarding customization.
At this time, it is not possible to add customization (including head HTML and custom coding) into a starter template. This is due to starter templates providing drag and drop ability in the page editor only without further customization.
This is the reason we do not see head HTML, password-protected, and other customization features in the landing page settings.
As a workaround, you can create a website page, which does offer customization options for all HubSpot subscriptions, including free. You can add the script to the page head via the Settings > Head HTML field.
If you wanted to add the script to header or footer HTML for landing pages, this would require a CMS Hub Professional/Enterprise or Marketing Hub Professional/Enterprise subscription.
I recognize that our knowledge base documentation is confusing regarding which features are available at the template level, I sincerely apologize for that. I’ve passed this feedback along internally to the proper team.
I hope this clarification helps!
Best,
Kristen
