Whenever I try to embed code, it doesn’t show up in the preview and it doesn’t insert.

Can you tell us more about your project? Are you adding this code to a HubSpot-created page? Or on a custom-coded website you are creating outside our CMS? If you are using HubSpot, where in-app are you trying to add this code?

Looking at your code. I took it and dropped it into VS Code along with a few of my own test images. It loads the card and switches images when hovering as expected.
