I would like to embed a countdown clock onto one of my hubspot landing pages, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that. Am I missing something?
Here is the code:
<script src=“https://cdn.logwork.com/widget/countdown.js”></script>
<a href=“Free HTML Countdown Timer Embed Widget Code for Website” class=“countdown-timer” data-timezone=“America/Los_Angeles” data-textcolor=“#ffffff” data-date=“2024-08-08 17:30” data-background=“#ffffff” data-digitscolor=“#05eaff” data-unitscolor=“#ffffff”>NoiseFest Countdown</a>
Hey @AStrickland1 ,
Does it have to be an embed? I’m not sure why that isn’t working, but as a quick solution you could go to the template marketplace > modules, and search for some free countdown modules to use?
Hi @AStrickland1
The easiest way to embed this on a landing page is by using the Rich Text editor and then “Insert > Embed”.
You can see it getting pulled in below:
Hope this helps!
Yes that worked! I don’t know how I missed that. Thank you.
Hi,
I’m trying to do the same thing but don’t have the ‘Embeded’ option when I go to insert in the rich text editor. Am I missing something?
Hi @MKlippenstine - I’ve seen reduced options in some situations (i.e. when using a rich text editor inside of a form) but this is strange as all the other options besides embed are available.
Is this a default rich text module or is this a rich text box within another module? Also, is this a regular site/landing page? If you could provide a screenshot of how it appears on the page that would be helpful as well.
Great news everyone. This actually just went into Public Beta. You can now leverage the new “Countdown Timer” module for CTAs. See below.
What is it?
We’ve added a new “Countdown Timer” module to HubSpot CTAs! You can add this module directly to your pop-up and embedded CTAs, and then surface them on your website to drive conversions.
Why does it matter?
Adding a countdown to your CTAs is a powerful way to highlight limited-time offers or upcoming events. Countdown timers in pop-ups and embedded CTAs encourage user engagement and are shown to increase conversion rates for time-sensitive campaigns. Using a countdown can be particularly valuable if your company has any limited-time promotional events, sales, or offers.
How does it work?
To add a countdown to your CTA, simply select the countdown module from the editor and drag it into your asset. We’ve also introduced five new CTA templates tailored for creating pop-ups with countdowns.
Set your desired end date, and the countdown will automatically conclude at midnight in your account’s time zone (note: specific end hours aren’t available yet).
If the countdown is in a pop-up, the pop-up will automatically unpublish when the countdown ends. Customize the look of your countdown in the “Style” tab, where you can adjust padding, colors, borders, and more to match your brand.
Please note that CTAs with countdowns aren’t supported in marketing emails.
Who gets it?
The countdown timer module is available to users on Marketing and Content Hub Starter, Professional, and Enterprise subscriptions.
Hi,
Does this also work in Hubspot emails?
Thanks
Hi @TMistry2 No it is not available in marketing emails.
As per the product update:
