I think the best way is to use a standard UTM nomeclature across your company and then stick to it, come what may. I maintain a sheet with all the standards and manually generate the utm with tools like these Free UTM Link Builder: Create UTM Codes to Track Campaigns or the classic GA4 utm builder.
