Within Marketing Emails, when creating an email or email template, you can currently pull in date tokens from different records. These date tokens display the date with your default system settings.
Request: when using date tokens within email, allow users to define the date display format on a template by template basis. Ideally we’d have the option to define using different formats, such as dd MMMM yyyy or MMM dd, yyyy but at minimum, having the month name displayed versus the month number would suffice.
Why this matters: For companies using Hubspot that work across many different countries (specifically for our organization, US and UK), having the date format be set to system default causes issues when emailing clients in the other country. For example, today’s date will display as 12/3/2026 (UK) due to our default settings but when we email clients in the US, this looks like December 3rd 2026.
