it would be great to change property values directly in table reports or lists by double clicking on the individual value, similar to an excel table.
That would immensely simplify changing property values where you have to change multiple ones across multiple deals/contacts/companies. For example: I need to add the shipping country to all past shipments of this year now. For every deal, the shipping country is different. If I had a table where I can just enter the country row by row (e.g. a table report), that would be much faster. Now I have to go to the index page, filter out all the deals or contacts, enter the necessary property in the search field and then enter the value.
I would also love to use this to make it easier for our sales team to bulk update properties they have missed that help inform our automations!
I think the OP could also potentially use a contact import for the one-time issue described, but for a “here’s what you’ve missed” we would need a live report + live updates.
Writing on behalf of a customer, it will be great if we can just edit the values directly much like how it we can do it on a spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets.
Sometimes we just want to edit the properties of some contacts without having to click into each contact individually and making the change.
I’d also like this - I know you can edit fields in the Deal and Contact list view, but I need to do this with Line Items associated to deals. I have a report with this info, but nothing is either clickable or editable in the report.
