The ecommerce deal pipeline was automatically created after an integration/plugin with woocommerce, we then changed and deleted some of the default deal stages. This has apparently caused an issue with the integration as it can only use the default stages.
How do we restore the default deal stages for the ecommerce pipleline (including the correct IDs)?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore the deal stages to the original. Once a change is made, the original deal stage name is removed, and there is no way to change it back automatically.
It has to be changed from Settings > Objects > Deals Pipelines tab now you have to manually type and change the deal stage name. But this will also not work because when you create deal stages manually then their internal IDs will be changed. Therefore, the data will not map in those deal stages.
Thank you, would you think there is anyway to completely delete the pipleline (not archive)? Followed by re-installing the plugin and having the pipeline created again?
It is infact your plugin that is being used, and I am not sure what API request you send that activated or created the Ecommerce pipeline.
No, if you completely delete the pipeline and try to re-install the plugin then also it wouldn’t work because it doesn’t matter what you are doing with site or integration, what matters is your portal is the same and changes are made on the portal, not on site.
Therefore, it will not work, also the integration doesn’t create the eCommerce pipeline it just maps the data in that pipeline.
Just a thought - the reference ID of the deleted stage might be able to change to a new stage ID by the integrator.
Maybe contacting the third party app (the developer that developed the integration between woocommerce and hubspot) to see if there is anything that can be done.
Integration only maps data to the default E-commerce pipeline’s deal stages, but if the deal stages are not present there then integration will also not able to map the data or do anything for it, and default deal stages can not be re-created or restored.
