I am looking for an elegant solution to a problem I have with personalisation.
Our membership list is split into different industries for communication purposes. We will also be moving to factoring in personas within those different industry groups soon to ramp up personalisation in our comms.
Currently, we run a very straightforward member comms pipeline of emails linked to blogs for the numerous different industry our members belong to. This works fine at the moment as a method to personalise communication by industry, but I am hitting a wall when trying to factor in persona to that personalisation.
My initial thought was to create smart rules for content within the blog posts on these blogs, but that is not an option and creating 5 different persona based-blog posts for each member comms we send out starts to get really messy, especially if we cannot hide the other persona’s posts.
I was wondering if there was anyone else in a similar situation who has found a different solution or method to merge these 2 different personalisation types when creating targetted blogs like this? Should we abandon this method?
