Double opt-in multiple languages

Hi all,

I am currently working on creating a double opt-in proces in different languages. Since Hubspot does not support this in the standard double opt in feature, I was thinking of sending an email with a CTA through a workflow. Once the recipient clicks on the CTA in the email, which has the text "Confirm subscription’', a workflow that updates the subscription status for the contact should be triggered.

However, i cannot find a way to use CTA clicks as a trigger (or in a if/then branch) to update the subscription. Is there another option to do this? Thanks!

Hi @CPiloo,

When you add a CTA in an email, you can change the link type to a subscription link. It’s an often overlooked drop-down option when adding links. In there you should find a subscription confirmation link.

The actual opt status of a subscription can be set through the “Manage communication subscriptions” workflow action.
