Hi all,
We are utilising the integration from Fluent Forms to Hubspot and are facing an issue with our very large form. When a field gives the error “property values were not valid,” we are unsure which exact field is reporting this error. I just wanted to check if this was a limitation of Hubspot or if the plugin developers have simply not implemented a solution for it.
Hi, @MHolt07
Welcome to our community! Thanks for your question. I agree, it can be a challenge to pin down who or what is the root cause of the issue in these cases. It could be related to how the plugin developers chose to implement or display error messages. And you’ll need to file a support ticket with the app creator to be sure.
You could test this outside of your plugin by using Postman and making a form submission using the same or similar test data and hit the Submit a Form endpoint. This could give you more insight into where the validation issue is coming from — meaning if you can submit the test using Postman without issue, then you’ll know the error isn’t coming from the forms API. Or if you get an error, you may be able to narrow down the exact issue causing the validation message to come up.
Best,
Jaycee
Hi Jaycee,
Thanks for the response. I believe the plugin devs would most likely be using this endpoint instead. Would this one let me know what field had invalid data sent to it? Unfortunately I cannot test as I don’t have the token anymore. I just did a one-time copy in to the application from a secret page provided to me.
