Disable User Meeting Schedule

It often happens that a company employee (user registered at Hubspot) is absent from work for health reasons or for personal reasons and we at the company temporarily release the person from work.

We are having an issue with our customers scheduling a meeting on the Hubspot calendar for this user who is not at the company. The problem is that customers are getting furious, because at the scheduled date and time they are waiting in the meeting room and the user does not show up to give training (obviously because he is not in the company).

To try to solve it, we were temporarily deactivating the user’s profile on Hubspot, but to our surprise their meeting agenda is still accessible (available), which I understand is wrong, because if I’m telling Hubspot that the user is deactivated, that person’s public agenda could not be accessible. This issue is causing a huge inconvenience with our thousands of customers. We need you to make this improvement, which we believe should have been done a long time ago and which today is a big problem.

Proposed solution: when a Hubspot user is deactivated, also deactivate that user’s public meeting calendar URL.

P.S.: in contact with support they gave some alternatives, which I am already aware of, but none of them work or are efficient.

Aware of your attention and consideration, thank you!

Agree! This should be implemented.

+1, this is core functionality. Honestly surprised HubSpot doesn’t automatically disable meeting links when a user is deactivated. At the very least, there should be an option to redirect those links to another active user.

+1 from me as well. It’s extremely frustrating to have 10+ disabled users show up in the list of schedules, and have to scroll past them to get to the one I want.

Please just allow the removal of all scheduling pages from disabled users!

Agree! We need to clean up meeting schedulers for inactive users.

Very high agree! We lost +10 Hot-Leads now, cause we didnt knew that this was possible. and it doesnt makes sense to book a meeting with a deactivated user.

Potential customers booked a meeting and we didnt respond to them. One potential send us an angry email to info@ after he booked and waited within the meeting. Else we would never had the idea that this is technical possible. Also the calender it self gave wrong information and explained “you can write also an email to xy…” but xy isnt working here anymore and thats why his user was deactivated.

This is a much-needed functionality. When will this one be considered? It seems bizarre that there is no way to clean up meeting links for users who are no longer active within HubSpot. This is a must-have to avoid lost leads from inactive meeting links. Please, please consider bringing this forward.
