What is the difference between hubspot developers account and standard account. Where would i be testing my production app? The private app we make for our work should be created in developers account or standard account?

For your last question, Private App keys are only designed to be used with the portal that created it. Meaning, if you create a private app in your production portal and assign it the needed scopes, it will only work in the portal that created it. Same if you created the private app in an app test account, it would work there but not in any additional portals.

The quick answer is:
App developer accounts – App developer accounts are intended for creating and managing apps, integrations, and developer test accounts. They’re also where you can create and manage App Marketplace listings.
Developer test accounts – Within app developer accounts, you can create developer test accounts to test apps and integrations without affecting any real HubSpot data. Developer test accounts do not mirror production accounts, but rather have access to a 90-day trial of the Enterprise versions of Marketing, Sales, Service, CMS, and Operations Hub, providing the ability to test most HubSpot tools and APIs.
Essentially, you create an App developer account, and that will allow you to create Developer test accounts where you can create private apps and test safely before doing the same for a production portal.
