Hi all!
Do you have the same problems with developersMode? Sometimes it works, sometimes not, sometimes I can copy hubl with custom code, and sometimes I can’t.
Does anybody know what’s going on and how can I use it properly? Or this is a standard HubSpot problem?

Hi @TSygut4 I didn’t have a chance to watch the loom, but have a pretty good feeling I know what you’re experiencing and why.
Here are two scenarios to explain:
1 - you have an existing or new page based on a template, you add a net new module to the page (not part of the original template), you configure the module, and copy the hubL
In this case, all of the custom code is copied correctly.
2 - you have an existing or new page based on a template and directly modify the settings for one of the modules included in the original template, then copy the hubL
In this case, only the changes you’ve made are copied, not the full hubL needed for the module.
If you’re using developer mode and you plan on copying module hubL to create new templates, you have to drag and drop the module to the page and reconfigure, even if it already exists, only the changes you make to the module are captured in the hubL - I think the assumption is that if you’ve coded the template already with the module, you’re only trying to capture the changes…
