I’ve built out our site on HubSpots content website platform. I’ve got a few modules that I’d like to tweak the behaviour of (Menu module, Quote module, Image Slider module) or create a custom module instead, but need some help with the CSS and code to accomplish this. I’ve worked on sqaurespace for many years adding custom code and CSS but I’m having a hard time with the Hubspot Design manager and how things connect. Looking to hire a freelance designer to help me modify the behaviour of some of these modules.
I’ve been working with HubSpot for a while now and know the ins and outs.
Tweaking modules and creating custom ones is something I do regularly.
If you want, we can chat about what you’re looking to change and I can help out.
Totally get where you’re coming from—HubSpot’s Design Manager has a bit of a learning curve compared to platforms like Squarespace. The module system (with HubL, fields.json, CSS, etc.) can be powerful but not very beginner-friendly.
For tweaking existing modules or building custom ones (like your Menu, Quote, or Slider), a HubSpot developer can help you:
Extend or override module behavior with custom JS/CSS
Modify or clone default modules safely
Build fully custom modules that remain drag-and-drop friendly in the editor
