Delete a "Property Sync" Property

Hi,

I created a “property sync” property and didn’t set it up correctly. I want to delete it but can’t because I have 2 contacts with data in that property. With other property types, I could just delete the data and then archive the property. However, a “property sync” property doesn’t allow me delete the data because it’s automatically updated by HubSpot.

Any ideas on how to delete a “property sync” property?

Hi @Jenny26,

Have you tried deleting (temporarily) the values that the sync property is pulling for those two contacts? For example, if it’s pulling of values from two companies, have you tried clearing the original value on those two companies so that the sync property comes out as empty for the contacts? That’s how I would approach it.
