Delays when using if/then in workflows

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help.

I am creating a workflow which is triggered by someone completing a form on a landing page. Once completed they will then be sent an email which has two options, a Yes option and a No option.

If the user clicks Yes they will be enrolled in another workflow, if they click No, they will go to a different workflow and if no action is taken there is another workflow they will be enrolled in.

Here is the mock-up of it:

I had set a delay on the ‘none met’ branch giving time for users to receive the email, and then for action to be taken before enrolling in the ‘none met’ path and flow. In testing, I tried this on the Yes click, this resulted in the contact being in both the delay for ‘none met’ and in the ‘Yes click’ workflow.

How would you advise adjusting the flows giving a chance for a user to take an action and ensure they go down the right path?

Thanks!

Hello @LTilley ,

I had tried one way, I suggest to check first that email you have sent them is opened by them or not and if opened then you can add more conditions of CTA’s and if not you can set delay until that email was not opened and in this delay you can set condition like upto how many days it will check for email open like I set 5 days so it means contact will be in delay upto 5 days and in these 5 days delay if contact opened the email then contact will immediately exit the delay and move to next action. I am attaching a workflow I build for you try to refer it with your example.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you
