Hi all, hoping that someone will be able to help me with a deal conversion report.
Scenario - we want to see out of all contacts associated with a deal, that the “oldest” contact, was the person that downloaded the report first.
I’ve managed to create a pivot table that shows me by date all of the contacts associated with a deal and their first touch point, but I can’t work out how to show only the deals where the first point of contact was from the download of the report.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Hi @LisaSheppard! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here
Can you clarify what steps the contacts take when downloading the report? Is it a simple CTA? We may need more context about this full process to better understand our segmentation options.
Let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification!
Best,
Kennedy
Hi @kennedyp thanks for trying to understand what I am not doing too well at explaining!
I’m trying to show in a report where out of all of the contacts associated with a deal, that the First Conversion relates to a specific download, in this case our annual report for 2024.
It’s proving difficult, because if we filter only on that report, it doesn’t include other contacts in that deal - and we want to see if the first conversion relates to the report.
I’d like to see all deals that include the First Conversion relating to our Report, but also be able to see the other contacts associated with that deal and their First Conversion Date/details as well.
Deal 1 - Contact 1 - First Conversion Date = 01/02/2025 - First Conversion = Report 2024
Deal 1 - Contact 2 -First Conversion Date = 07/02/2025 - First Conversion = Webinar
Deal 2 - Contact 1 - First Conversion Date = 20/01/2025 - First Conversion = Webinar
Deal 2 - Contact 2 - First Conversion Date = 01/02/2025 - First Conversion = Report 2024
I really hope this makes a bit more sense now?
Hey @LisaSheppard! Have you tried reporting on Contacts as the primary object but then filtering by Deals or adding a Deal field? Here is a very general example of that type of report. Since my primary object is Contacts, it will show all contacts despite them only being associated with one deal:
