Looking for additional flexibility with how reports/charts are displayed on a dashboard.
Higher resolution dashboard canvas
Currently the dashboard canvas is 6 ‘blocks’ wide. I’d love to see the resolution increase to at least 8 or 10 ‘blocks’ wide with the commensurate increase vertically as well. This will allow for more flexibility in the size of each report and the overall layout of how the reports are layed out together.
Headlines & Text
To use text blocks for section headers or other similar organization of reports, it eats up an entire row of ‘blocks’ on the canvas. The higher fidelity of blocks above may help with this, but the ability to use Headings and Text without eating up a whole line of blocks and eating up precsious real estate is needed.
Number formatting
To aid in readability of dashboards (versus reports) it would help to be able to adjust the formatting of numbers shown on the dashboard, preferably at the data field level within a report. For the example reports shown below: adjusting the display of a number from $$418,488 to $418K or $418.5K etc. the ability to pick the decimal place and format of the number will save a lot of real estate and improve readability for the user.
