Custom Dropdown Field in CRM

Hi there,

when opening Hubspot CRM --> Contacts you see rows for every conact. In this view it is also possible to assign a Hubspot User via Dropdown without entering into the contact. This is very handy. I would like to have the same with a custom dropdown-field. I know how to create and how to change Dropdown-Fields in the contact. But unfortunately it is only possible when I open the contact. It is not possible in the row/preview, here you only see the value but you can’t edit it. It would be much quicker to do it just as “assign Hubspot-User”.

Anyone any idea if/how this would work?

Assigning a contact owner is a key process, I guess that’s why its been built into the GUI like this. This can’t be applied to a custom property unfortunately.

However, if you click the preview button when you hover on a contact, you can quickly edit any property that is set to show in your ‘about this contact’ box.
