hey guys - sorta new to hubspot - my first post - thank you in advance!
We have 3 buttons - depending on where the button is on the site depends on which one gets used.
One with a white hover, one with a blue hover and one with an orange hover.
I was creating CTA’s via CSS - but it seems that css seems to impact every other CTA I create.
So, i thought i’d add them to the CSS and just call a class depending on which one I needed.
Which CSS should I put them in?
Where do I find said CSS?
Is there an Editor in Hubspot that I will be able to use?
Thank you in advance!! I appreciate your insight and patience!
Hey @JohnInDallas,
From within HubSpot if you navigate to “Marketing > Files and Templates > Design Tools” it will bring you to what is known as the Design Manager. It’s where you can create and edit different files within your HubSpot portal. When you click in for the first time you’ll see a list of folders on the left. You’d need to navigate to the theme folder that you are using.
Once you’ve successfully done this you then need to locate the appropriate CSS file to add your style rules. Most should have a sub directory called “css” and from within there you should see “main.css”.
When you’ve opened that css file you can add something similar to the below and publish the changes:
.whiteButton:hover{
background-color: #FFFFFF;
}
.blueButton:hover{
background-color:#0000FF;
}
.orangeButton:hover{
background-color: #FFA500;
}
The above would assume that you add the appropriate class to each of your CTA’s depending on the behaviour you want.
I hope this helps!
