Hi. I’m having trouble displaying the currency in the recurring payment consent form (payments links). My HubSpot settings are set to PLN (Poland). When I click “Pay” in the payment section, I see the option to consent to recurring payments, but it displays the US currency (USD). My HubSpot is hosted in the US, not Europe. Could this be the reason the currency isn’t displayed correctly in the recurring payment consent form?
Thank you all for your helpful replies.
Hi @RafalCichon and welcome, we are so glad to have you here!
Thank you for bringing this up to the HubSpot Community and sharing screenshots.
While your HubSpot account may be hosted in the US, the display currency for payment links should still respect your account’s configured currency settings (in your case, PLN for Poland) rather than defaulting to USD.
Sometimes, updating currency settings after creation doesn’t retroactively update existing items.
Could you please try creating a new payment link after confirming your default currency.
Also, I’d love to check with our Top Experts: Hi @HubDoPete, @CarolinaDeMares and @Gaurav_Aggarwal do have other suggestions to help @RafalCichon, please?
Have a wonderful day and thanks so much!

Hi BérangèreL, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the problem persists. I’ve re-confirmed the currency in my account and created a new payment link, but the currency mismatch still appears.
Hi @RafalCichon and thanks for getting back to me.
In that case, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary.
I hope that you’ll get sorted real soon!
Have a great day!

Have a great day.
Hi @RafalCichon , Thanks for the flag! We’ve fixed this bug, and it should work for you now.
Hi @RafalCichon!
Yes — the issue is most likely tied to how HubSpot handles currencies, your account’s hosting region, and the payment processor (Stripe vs HubSpot native payments).
Could you confirm which processor you’re using — Stripe or HubSpot Payments (built-in)? That makes a big difference.
Here are the main causes to check:
-
Currency override in the payment link / subscription
- When you create the payment link or recurring subscription, there should be a “Currency” dropdown/field.
- Even if your account default is PLN, if that link is set to USD, it’ll override your default.
-
Processor defaults (Stripe or other)
- If you’re using Stripe: log in and check which currencies your account supports and which is set as default.
- If USD is set at the processor level, HubSpot will often display USD in the consent form.
-
Consent text hardcoded to USD
- In some setups, the recurring payment consent text may use a default USD version.
- You may need to manually update/edit the text in your privacy/consent settings if HubSpot doesn’t dynamically replace it with PLN.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your helpful reply. I’m leaving this topic for now, as I’m planning a data migration from the US to the EU. I’ll continue this topic after the migration. Thanks again for your reply.
Best regards
Hi Stephanie, I received a message in the system. Thank you for your quick response. You guys are amazing
You truly live up to HubSpot’s values. I’ll test it after my data migration from the US to the EU. Since I’m currently scheduled for the migration, I can’t integrate payments or create new payment links.
Best regards!
