Creation of Custom Objects

Hi there,

We want to use custom objects in our account but I’m struggeling at the moment, because I cannot find a way to automatically create custom objects from a contact or company based workflow. Also the enrollment in another workflow (custom based one) is not possible.

Is this true? Are we not able to automatically create custom objects out of workflows, that are NOT custom object based?

I have a custom object “Agency” and from a contact-based workflow I’m able to create an Agency record just fine:

Have you followed these steps when setting up your custom object? Create and edit custom objects

Hi Karsten, Thanks for your quick reply. I already find my mistake. I have not created a association between contact and custom object records, so I was not able to choose the custom object in the workflow area. As soon as I have created the association, I’m now able to select custom object in contact based workflow.
