Create temporary filters on list

Lists are of course built using filters, but sometimes you want to filter records in a list temporarily. It would be helpful to create a temporary filter on a list while viewing it. It would behave similarly to the “advanced filters” on the contact, companies, etc. default views.
As an extra value add, it would be good to have an option to add the temporary filter as a “real” filter, but that’s not as high priority for me personally.

Hi @THerrman

Why not just use the object index view filters that you described?

I use them frequently to play around with additional filters without changing the actual list filters.

@franksteiner79, if you’re suggesting to recreate the lists “base” (i.e., the filters that define the list) in the objects view and then add temporary filters on top of that, that’s certainly a workaround. However, if I’m actively viewing a list, I don’t want to go the object view, do some filtering, then come back to lists.
