In order to segment customers based on the line items bought, it would be helpful to be able to use Active Lists with criteria based on the line item a contact has purchased. The list criteria options allow you to do this, but no results are returned. This seems like a bug given that the list crtieria allow you to filter based on line item properities but return no results.

Hey, i found a way around it if you’re still struggling with the solution: First, create a deal-based list and filter it like you did (Associations > Line Items. Name > Contains > **Item Name**), save the list. Secondly, create contact-based list and filter by associated deals. in the field, choose List membership and the list you just created at step 1. You’ll get the contacts that have deals with the product name you mentioned. Hope it helps.
