Hi All, I use a workflow to create a deal record (copy of an existing deal) for splitting our revenue out into different months. I would therefore like to name the deal fx. “Company name X - September” however, I don’t know how to add the month dynamically any suggestions?

I’m afraid that this is not possible, as HubSpot does not have a day, month, or year variable. Unless you edit your workflow every month to change the name on the “Create a new record” action.
A solution would be to name your deal for example “Company name X - Date of step”. You would just need a new property with the current date to copy.
If you have Operations Hub you probably can do that using Custom code actions, but I’m not a programmer to help with that :(.
