Create customized PDF for each contact

Hello,
We want to send a customized PDF certificate with the user’s info, such as name and last name. It has to be triggered after the user fill up and send a form on a Landing Page, so, the PDF could be sent by email (or if it can be directly download as soon as the user hit the button “send” it would be great as well.
I’ve tried the application PDF generator by DepositFix and configured a workflow like below:
1. Action: complete and send form from the Landing Page;
2. Action: Process PDF - depositfix PDF (here I put the PDF template’s URL);

3. Action: send email.
I’ve tried to send by an automated email, also by creating an email directly on the workflow, but nothing works.
Sure, the PDF is in the contacts attachments (as we can on the screenshot) but we need it to be sent automatically to the users that fill up the form.

Does anyone else tried PDF generator by DepositFix and could make it work in that way?

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve read this thread before, but this isn’t the ideal solution for us, as we have lots of contacts to admin, we cannot make it manually.
Do you guys have a suggestion that make it work automatically, please?

Thanks for your feedback!

At this time it’s not possible to attach individual PDFs to automated emails & marketing emails as this could harm email deliverability and could carry a security risk for the recipient.

@karstenkoehler suggests a workaround in this thread that involves storing a document link in a custom property and then adding it to an email with a personalization token.
