Create Custom object records from Line Items on close won

Hi,

We have an Asset custom object.

In the deal we have the related line items.

When a deal is closed won - We want to loop on all related line items and for each line item we want to create a record of an Asset custom object. The custom object will be related to the Company for example

Is it possible to achieve with workflow or only with custom code?

Hey @OBetzalel line items are a bit forgotten about in automation in HubSpot tbh.

You can however create a custom object record within a workflow, you could do this based on the deal however and then copy property values from the line-items into the custom object record.

It would be something like this:

You could say create a custom object record when a deal is closed, then copy your line-item values into that associated object records too.

It might become a bit trickier if you’re creating multiple custom object records for a single deal or if you have multiple line items per deal. If this is the case you would need to look into an external integration or api to do this.

Does anyone know a 3rd party app to create renewal opp and creating custom objects records according to the line items that were added to the original opportunity?

For us it’s actually the case that we want to create a custom object for each line item that is attached to the deal
