Hi,
I have been pointed here by the sales team at Hubspot. I need to pull a list at the contact level to show the name, role, industry, email, title & membership list of every contact I have in our CRM.
Most of our contacts have more than 1 membership list- So for each contact, I need the name of each of the membership lists it is in.
Membership lists are not inputted at the contact level when we upload as a value collum. But at an individual contact level, I can view this on Hubspot. I have been shown how i can filter by membership lists and if it’s known but this is still not what we need. We need a full contact list of what lists membership each contact has.
Please can you help?
Hi @CClegg3,
At this stage, there aren’t any straight forward ways to get this information. One would be via the HubSpot Contact Lists CRM API. Another would be a custom report (requiring a Professional or Enterprise license), under Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Single object > Contacts, displaying List membership by Count of contacts. This report can then be exported.
For a workaround, you could consider storing the information about the list membership in a custom property instead (which could then be easily exported). You could create a multiple checkboxes property with values “List 1”, “List 2” and “List 3” and then bulk edit this information for contacts based on list membership. Keep in mind that bulk editing multiple checkboxes properties will overwrite the existing values – which means that you might have to export your view in between bulk edits.
Don’t shoot the messenger.
Hope this helps!
