Contacts List API: Associations Array Limit

I am using crm/v3/objects/contacts?associations=deals api. It also returns associated deal array with contact.

However, what is the max number of deals that the service can return? What happens if one of the contacts has 1500 deals?

Hey, @AKozhan :waving_hand: Thanks for the great question. I don’t see anything in the documentation about a limit on the number of associations that can be returned for a specific object. Only the limit on the number of objects that can be returned per request.

Have hit a limit or received a warning? What’s the most Deals you currently have associated with a Contact? Is it 1500? Or is that just an estimation of what might be possible in the future?

Thanks for quick reply @Jaycee_Lewis, I did not hit a limit or receive warning but theoretically the response would be very complex. For example, if I want to get list of contacts and their all association types;

https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/contacts?associations=deals,tickets,feedback_submissions,quotes,notes,calls,communications,meetings,tasks,postal_mail,emails&archived=false&limit=100

I thought that I can hit a limit at some point. If there is any limitation, it would be great to see in the documentation.
