I have contacts whose email addresses have a different domain than their company name. When I import, even though those contacts have a company name in the file, the company field either shows up as blank or changes to the email addresses domain company. Example

john@verizion.net but his company is ABC Plumbing. His company field in his contact record would either show up blank or as Verizon.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi @NZavala,

HubSpot automatically associated contacts and companies by email domain if a certain setting is toggled. You can deactivate this automatic association by navigating to Settings > Objects > Contacts & Companies > tab Companies. You should be able to unselect this option:
