Hi, Can I filter by custom object? In our hubspot we recently added custom objects to Company records. We added “Subscriptions” so now I want to filter out companies who have subscriptions added from those who dont?

This is something that cannot be done from the company index page but from a company list: Create segments

Select “Subscriptions” from this dropdown:

Yes, you can filter companies by custom objects in HubSpot! Since you have recently added “Subscriptions” as a custom object to your Company records, you can easily filter companies based on whether they have subscriptions or not. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Navigate to Your Company Records:

    • Go to your HubSpot account.
    • In the main navigation menu, click on Contacts and then select Companies.

  2. Create a New Filter:

    • In the Companies dashboard, click on Filters at the top of the page.
    • Click on Add filter.

  3. Select Your Custom Object:

    • In the filter dropdown, scroll down to find your custom object. In this case, look for “Subscriptions”.
    • Select Subscriptions.

  4. Set Your Filter Criteria:

    • Choose the criteria for the filter. For example, to filter companies with subscriptions, you might select “Subscription is known”.
    • To filter companies without subscriptions, you might select “Subscription is unknown”.

  5. Apply the Filter:

    • After setting your filter criteria, click Apply filter.
    • The list of companies will now be filtered based on the presence or absence of the “Subscriptions” custom object.

By following these steps, you can easily segment your companies based on whether they have added subscriptions.
