Claude API to Include Leads

Hello HubSpot Team,

I’m using the HubSpot MCP integration with Claude AI to automate CRM workflows. The integration currently supports standard objects (Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, etc.) but does not support the Leads object.

Business Impact: As a Sales Hub Professional/Enterprise customer, the Leads object is central to our sales workflow. We use it to track prospective investments, manage lead stages, and log outreach activities. Not having API/MCP access to Leads means we cannot automate:

• Updating Lead Status after meetings
• Logging notes directly to Lead records
• Bulk updating Lead properties
• Automating lead stage progression

Request: Please add Leads object support to the HubSpot MCP integration (and any AI/API integrations) so we can:

• Search/read Lead records
• Update Lead properties (Status, Stage, Description, etc.)
• Create new Leads programmatically
• Log activities to Lead records

Since Leads is already a native HubSpot object with full API support, adding it to the MCP integration should be straightforward and would significantly improve workflow automation for Sales Hub Pro/Enterprise users.

We’re doing the same on our end. We rely heavily on the Lead Object to manage our pipeline, and we’re also using Claude to help interpret lead data. Adding Lead Object support to the Claude connector would be a big improvement for us as well.

Hi Carter, you should have access to leads object now. You need to disconnect and reconnect your HubSpot account in Claude with new permissions. If you are using App install governance beta, then admins in your account also need to approve this additional permissions.
