Changing List Item Colour

I want to use a list item module when building my page, but I can’t see a way to change the colour of the actual list items (text) when building, and the current colour is the same as the background. How do I change this?

@JPope88 if there isn’t a setting in the theme, it will be hard to resolve this with a free account because code would have to be added and the options are pretty limited. Can you share a URL for the page with the issue? I can inspect the code to see what hte options are.

It’s not a published page yet so don’t think I can share URL can I?

@JPope88 correct, it needs to be published for us to see it.
From what you are trying to do, if the Theme settings don’t allow you to change it, you will need to add custom code as Jennifer was mentioning.
For list items, it might looks like this:

ul li {
 color: #000000;
}

Where you should change #00000 for the color you would like to use. If you are not sure what the # format means, check this link.

But of course, without seeing the actual page it’s impossible to know if it will work.

Hi @JPope88,

To change the color of list items (text) in your HubSpot page builder, you’ll need to adjust the CSS for that module. HubSpot’s editor might not provide direct options to modify text color, so adding custom CSS is the way to go.

Here’s how you can do it:

  • Navigate to Content Settings > Edit CSS or Style your modules with CSS, and add a CSS rule to target your list items and change the text color.

Check out HubSpot’s detailed guide here: Customize Your Website’s CSS.

Best regards!
